User Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete data Cholaka holds about you, including data obtained when you connect Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, or Meta ad accounts. It is the instructions URL for Cholaka’s Meta app.

Delete data from Cholaka

1. Sign in at cholaka.ai and open Accounts.
2. Disconnect every Facebook Page, Instagram account, and ad account you no longer want Cholaka to access. Disconnecting revokes our tokens and stops publishing, inbox, and analytics for that account.
3. To delete your Cholaka workspace itself, email info@cholaka.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We remove or de-identify associated data within 30 days, except where we must keep it for legal or billing records.

Delete via Facebook or Instagram

You can also remove Cholaka from Facebook or Instagram. That notifies us automatically:

1. Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove Cholaka. Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → remove Cholaka.
2. Facebook Settings → Apps and websites → Removed → View and edit info → Request data deletion, or use Facebook’s off-Facebook activity tools.

When Facebook sends us a deletion request, we disconnect every Page, Instagram account, and related token that was authorized by that Facebook user, and we issue a confirmation code you can check on this page.

What we delete

Access tokens, connected Facebook/Instagram account records, inbox threads and comments ingested from those accounts, and cached insights for those accounts. Published posts that already went live on Facebook or Instagram stay on those platforms — delete them there if you want them removed.
